Junior
Section - League Games

Saturday 7th February 2004
Abbey Grange Old Boys wish it to be known that they are in
no way financially or organisationally connected to the company known as
Kick It UK.
One of the Coaches of Kick It UK, has played for Abbey
Grange Old Boys Senior Teams this year. As the Abbey Grange Junior section
was looking to grown it squad of players, this same person was invited to
bring some of the children that he coached along for a joint training
session with the Abbey Grange Junior Section. This was a temporary
arrangement for two or three weeks to see if they were interested in
joining Abbey Grange Junior Section on a formal basis.
In the absence of said person over the Christmas period,
and as a gesture of goodwill to those children and parents who turned up
at Bedquilts looking for Kick It UK staff, the Abbey Grange Junior section
did agree to train children that had paid moneys up front.
Abbey Grange Junior Section do not make any charge for
training on Saturdays at Bedquilts. This training is taken by coaching
staff from the Junior section on an entirely voluntary basis.
Abbey Grange Junior section only take fees from those
players who register with the club to play league football on a Sunday and
all monies are put back into the Junior section. Both the Junior and
Senior sections are run on a non profit making basis, and no member of the
playing, coaching or management staff is paid any fee whatsoever.
Abbey Grange Junior section are happy to train any
children currently in years 2, 3 or 4 who are interested in playing
competitive football either this year or next. We are unfortunately unable
to offer any training to anybody in years 5 or above at this moment in
time.
